I am a Chartered Linguist (translator and interpreter) working with English and Polish.
I studied law in Poland and England and spent 20 years working in three legal systems: English, Polish and Canadian.
I held various bilingual legal roles, focusing on civil and commercial law and litigation, before becoming a full-time translator and interpreter.
Drawing on my extensive experience, I now specialise in legal, business and the public sector translation and interpreting.
My personal interests include a healthy lifestyle, organic produce and environmental impact of food production, which have quickly become part of my professional portfolio and now I am also a specialist in agribusiness translation.
I am a Registered Public Service Interpreter and ISO Qualified Translator.
I am a Member of the Interpreting Division Steering Group within the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL).
I am open-minded, honest, impartial, flexible, a good listener and, of course, discreet.
I give people the benefit of the doubt and my opinions are not set in stone.
I enjoy lively discussions, reading and learning from experience.
I love travelling and meeting people, innovative ideas, good food, yoga and dance.
My passion for languages has led me to my intercultural career.
I am the right linguist and business partner for you if you are looking for somebody who:
Is approachable, has common sense and can think on her feet.
Offers benefits of cross-sector knowledge.
Enjoys personal cooperation and constructive discussion.
I look forward to working with you!
